In the 2015/2016 edition of the Final Synthesis Studio we ask students to use information visualization both as an analytical and a communicative tool, to observe, understand, shape and communicate complex phenomena. In this first part of the course, students explored the assigned topics using official data. We asked them to identify reliable data sources on their topics, collect the data and visualize it. The results are meant for the general public, in order to provide a first overview of the topic.
While 2014 was a huge growth year for individual sharing-economy companies, in 2015 the industry has seen the major growth as a whole.
